Days 1-14: establish the starting point
Confirm access to the existing Search Console and analytics properties, the clinic’s service inventory and the live website source. Save a dated baseline and check the main pages for access, indexing directives and broken journeys.
Select a small set of commercial priorities with the clinic owner. Record the target audience, available capacity and evidence required for each. Do not launch a large publishing schedule before understanding what already performs.
Days 15-30: repair and clarify
Resolve verified technical faults and make the priority pages clearer. Align titles, headings, service information and consultation routes. Check the relevant Business Profile facts and correct inconsistencies against the clinic’s records.
Give every change an owner and completion check. Verify the saved public page, not only the editor. Preserve working tracking, forms and redirects when deploying a new build.
Days 31-60: improve supporting information
Use real patient questions and search queries to choose supporting material. Improve useful existing pages before adding another article on the same topic. Request the required clinical fact checks and link the material to the relevant service.
Add evidence that belongs to this clinic, with permission and a clear reporting period. Do not manufacture case-study figures or alter dates merely to make old articles appear new.
Days 61-90: assess and reprioritise
Compare search and enquiry trends with the baseline, accounting for recrawling, seasonality and the decision cycle. Inspect whether the intended page appears for the intended query group. Review unresolved exclusions individually.
Retain effective changes, repair weak journeys and agree the next priorities. Ninety days is a review window, not a guarantee of a ranking, patient volume or return. A practical plan remains adjustable as better evidence becomes available.
